VIP Changes to Comp points
On 1st April 2009 you will no longer earn comp points. They will be replaced with a new currency called VIP Points. This page is an explanation of the changes we've made to reward you better.
CarbonPoker's VIP program is about to get bigger and better than ever before. With new rewards, better promotions and a more customized experience, every player at CarbonPoker will be eligible for fantastic prizes and customized rewards.
As of March 1, 2011, the new VIP program is in full effect. Under the new program, players are able to move through our 5 different VIP Tiers like never before. What used to be a lifetime accumulation is now a monthly calculation of VIP Points. This means:
- Better rewards
- You only compete for promotional prizes against players from your tier - instead of the entire site
- Get to the top as fast as you want
- Find a tier that works best for you, and stay there
The new VIP program works the same as before in a lot of ways. You still earn VIP Points for every raked real money ring game, tournament or S&G. At the end of each month, we'll automatically track your VIP Points earned and move you into the appropriate tier. This is the most aggressive and player-specific VIP Program in online poker.

We listened to the changes you wanted to the VIP Program and created this great new way of rewarding CarbonPoker players. This monthly format enables us to offer more rewards, bigger freerolls - and gives you a chance to have a legitimate shot at winning any leaderboard in any given month.
To get your feet wet, Carbon players will stay in their current VIP Tier for the next three months - enjoying all of the benefits, freerolls, tournaments and bonuses associated. For the fourth month, you will be placed in your new tier, based on the VIP Points you accumulated the month before.
