carbonpoker-lobbyThe Bad Beat Jackpot at CarbonPoker has been one of the busiest online! Seriously, it seems like we can’t turn around without someone hitting the payout — and we couldn’t be happier.

We paid out over $167,000 to the Bad Beat Jackpot winners — oh yeah, that was on a > $75 pot. That’s some sweet action.

Last night, it was a Royal Flush (spades) beating out 4 Kings. Congrats to rangerjay1 for hitting the top prize of $58,456.93 (and losing with quad Kings), and callmeguys for his $29,228.46 take from the jackpot.

Oh yeah — and the players who were present (and wisely got out of the way of these hands) pulled in $4,175.49. As always, just sitting there and bringing in a few grand? That’s the easiest money in poker.

It’s just cool to see that the Jackpot can go off at any time. It keeps people on their toes and the Bad Beat tables busy. Remember – you can’t hit the Bad Beat Bonus without playing at a designated Bad Beat table.

Because the jackpot went off so recently, it wasn’t a massive Bad Beat Jackpot Payout, but as you can tell, these guys are all still pleased with it.

Here is a snippet of the chat, after the jackpot went off:

” Fullcasa44>sweet
allinMustbethemoney>YES !!!!!!!
Paymepal>awesome
callmeguys>gg
allinMustbethemoney>How sweet is that !
Paymepal>u guys are the best
Paymepal>lol
Fullcasa44>good job guys “

As always, the Jackpot has been reseeded and is ready for the next winner. I can only assume that it’ll go off tomorrow.

After the yump, check out the full money breakdown, pot size and hand breakdown.

HalloweenOctober is here and so is another great CarbonPoker Promo.

‘CarbonPoker Halloween: Trick or Treat’, as the name suggests, offers the best tricks and treats of the season, as players work through 15 Levels of tasks to earn cash prizes.

If you played it last year, you’ll know that every CarbonPoker player is eligible and all of your progress will be automatically tracked and updated. It’s going to run from October 1 – 31, so you’ve got the entire month to build up VIP Points.

Here’s how it works:

After getting through the first task of finding a hidden pumpkin logo on one of CarbonPoker’s pages, you’re off and running – trying to accumulate as many VIP Points as you can throughout the month.

As you reach the different stages, you can go to the secure Halloween page (after you’re signed in) and decide whether to keep the Treat or risk it for more (and potentially get the Trick). Either way, you’ll get a cash prize.

Basically, you’re shooting for $2,500 in individual prizes over the month – and you’re only going to hit the top payout by risking some of it along the way.

Think of it like The Carbon Million… only spookier.

facebookHey everybody.

Just like everybody online (your mom included; she just added me) CarbonPoker has a facebook account.

Complete with a snappy URL, Facebook.com/CarbonPoker is a place fans of CP can get exclusive deals, promos, contests, etc. Meet up with other players, give us feed back. You know how it works.

As I’m writing this, we have 2,975 fans and I want us to hit 3K! As soon as we hit that magic number, I’ll be slinging around $109 coupons like they’re going out of style. On the day that we break 3,000, I’ll award 10 $109 coupons. (Those coupons are good for a spot on any of our famous $50,000 Guaranteed Tourneys).

Don’t wait, just do it.

Other promo: We’re pretty plugged in, so you should follow CarbonPoker on Twitter as well. Again, more deals, more articles and other exclusive deals. Get on it!

computer-fireBuckle up, bloggers. Today is the day.

That’s right. I’ll be facing off in a multi table tourney against some of the biggest and baddest bloggers online. Watch for a full list of competitors and a live event chat thread later on today!

All that being said, I plan on winning.

Side bets? Side bets. First guy to get knocked out has to post unicorns on their site the next day. Thanks to PUNTE from WithLeather for taking the honors last time. I think it really spruced things up around there. There will also be a bounty on my head (not that any of these guys will be knocking me out).

Want to get in on future events? Send me your blog’s URL in the comments section or hit me up on CarbonPoker’s Twitter Account.

ATTN: Poker Bloggers. More of these tourneys are on the way, and we’re looking for Poker Blogs. Contact me for info on how to get involved.

Tina_2Since it’s Friday, here is a look back at CarbonPoker’s player host, and Queen of Hearts, Tina. She’s been our rep at numerous live events, parties and tournaments. She’s also been in UK Maxim. If you’re interested, here’s the CarbonPoker Gallery of Tina Photos.

This is poker related, right?

If you’re already reading a blog, I suggest opening up you CarbonPoker account and playing a SitNGo or Ring Game. Why? Because it’s a Friday and you deserve it. Think about it, you could be MAKING MONEY AT WORK!

What I like to do is keep a spread sheet open in case someone walks by… well, actually I work on a poker site, so I think I’ll be safe… But that’s what I used to do.

Anyways, stay tuned for this weekend’s tournaments, announcements and much more at the CarbonBlog.
