Shannon Elizabeth Headlines Opening of Pennsylvania Poker Room

When poker and other casino games were recently legalized in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump and all of the other mint julep-drinking yuppies who have a stake in the Atlantic City casinos took a collective gulp.  Now people from Philadelphia don’t have to drive all the way to Atlantic City just to play table games and live poker.

Harrahs Chester is a prime example of this since its located just south of Philly, and they now have their own poker room.  In fact, the poker room opened just a few days ago on August 6th, and Carbon Poker’s very own Shannon Elizabeth headlined the unveiling of the 25-table World Series of Poker Room.

After arriving at the poker room, Elizabeth spent almost half an hour greeting fans and signing autographs for people.  And despite having to get up in the morning and fly across the country to meet with fans and ogling men, Elizabeth was personable and nice to everyone.

One fan named Rob Metzger told the Daily Times (a local Philadelphia newspaper) the following about Shannon:

“You can tell just being around her for a minute that she’s incredibly nice and down to earth.  When I saw her walking over with a big entourage and a few security guards I was expecting her to go through the motions and get out of here. It wasn’t like that at all.”

After meeting and greeting the fans, Elizabeth ended her time at Harrahs Chester in a fitting way by playing poker.  There’s no doubt that the first customers of Harrahs Chester got quite a thrill out of Shannon being there.
