Roland De Wolfe became 2009’s Secretariat of poker by pulling in the Triple Crown – final table wins at the World Series of Poker, The European Poker Tour and the World Poker Tour.
De Wolfe is only the second player to do that, along with Gavin Griffin. He took down the bracelet, and his most recent win, at $5,000 but in Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Split Eight or Better. Longest. Name. Ever.
Roland gained $246,616 for the win. He took down Brett Richey in heads up action to finish off the event.
Here is how the top five broke down:
1. Roland De Wolfe: $246,616
2. Brett Richey: $152,618
3. Scott Clements: $101,063
4. Robert Campbell: $72,121
5. Alexander Kravchenko: $53,881

I wish I had $246,616 in my Corbon Poker balance, I like to know how it feels when the amount can’t be put in one row
one of my favorite poker players and games to play poker. Roland is an amusing player to watch and he acts like a big kid with his facial expressions.
