So the final table of the Poker News Cup was set and the event was fast drawing to a close. The table was full of familiar faces for the Carbon Poker Team as we had all sat at tables with those still in.
They lay out of the final table looked as such;
Seat 1: Tim Heath – 566,000
Seat 2: David Gorr – 1,616,000
Seat 3: James Broom – 551,000
Seat 4: DavidLee – 503,00
Seat 5: Nali Kaselias – 1,530,000
Seat 6: Grant Levy – 574,000
Seat 7: Kenneth Damm – 384,000
Seat 8: Martin Comer – 1,333,000
Seat 9: Ray Sukkar – 1,152,000
Broom, Levy and then Gorr were all eliminated in quick order despite sizable starting stacks. Soon to follow was Tim Heath was busted holding a straight by Sukklar’s nut straight draw and Martin Comer who took out fifth. Sukkar was next, followed by Lee who picked up $73,000 for third.
There was a lengthy heads up battle between chip monsters Kenneth Damm and Nali Kaselias before it came to an abrupt conclusion with AJ vs K9. Kaselias holding AJ raised preflop to be called all in over the top by Damm. With out hesitation the call was made and Kenneth Damm was out on second place. Well done Kaselias who picked up the trophy and the $250,000.
All Carbon Players were tired after the poker efforts but keen to celebrate. We all had a blast in Melbourne, each taking home memories we wont soon forget.

It was quite an event being in Melbourne,as I was there to support 2fast443allin during his play at the Poker News Cup Tournament.
Carbon Poker should be very proud of them.They even assisted a couple we introduced to them who were not affiliated with site . I have been to a lot of places and never have been treated so well. They didn't make it about "It's our Job " they were truly friends and made sure that all had a great time.We had a fantastic dinner together,and the fun continued from there late into the evening.
We were a bit sad to leave as we will miss their company, but we will cherish the great times and memories made while there.I sure we converted some players from other sites as well,because they saw how Carbon Poker took care of all of us during the entire trip and not just while they were playing cards.
