Poker Maximus IV kicks off Tomorrow

For the past few weeks, many Carbon Poker players have been anticipating the start of Poker Maximus IV – a $1.2 million guaranteed event that will feature 37 different tournaments. And what’s nice is that the latest installment of Poker Maximus will kick off later today with an Event #1 $60,000 Guaranteed NL Hold’em tournament. This tourney starts at 19:00 server time, and players can buy in for $200 + $15.

Obviously not everybody can afford a $215 buy-in, but this doesn’t mean players with small bankrolls can’t still get involved today. That’s because there are two other tournaments in the Event #2 $15,000 NLHE ($11 buy-in) and Event #3 $40,000 NLHE 6-max ($109 buy-in). Of course, this is just the beginning since there are 34 other tourneys that we haven’t covered. Some of the most notable events that’ll run include the following:

February 10th at 15:00 – $100k prize pool, NLHE, $109 buy-in
February 10th at 16:00 – $100k prize pool, NLHE High Roller, $530 buy-in
February 12th at 19:30 – $20,000 prize pool, PLO, $60 buy-in
February 14th at 19:30 – $20,000 prize pool, HORSE, $215 buy-in
February 15th at 19:00 – $50,000 prize pool, NLHE Deepstacks, $215 buy-in
February 17th at 15:00 – $125k prize pool, NLHE Main Event, $109 buy-in
February 17th at 16:00 – $125k prize pool, NLHE High Roller Main Event, $530 buy-in
February 17th at 17:00 – $10,000 prize pool, NLHE Micro Main Event, $11 buy-in
February 17th at 18:00 – $60,000 prize pool, NLHE Low Main Event, $60 buy-in

Again, some of these buy-ins are above the bankroll of many players; if this is the case with you, remember that Carbon Poker is running lots of satellites throughout PM IV. All you have to do is visit the Carbon lobby and look in the satellites section to find a number of different qualifiers.

With $1.2 million in guaranteed money available, Poker Maximus is sure to be one of poker’s most interesting tournament series! Plus there’s a leaderboard competition running throughout the event, so if you play a lot of poker, you’ll have a chance to earn extra prizes.
