Free DragTheBar Membership at Carbon Poker

If you yearn for more from the Super Bowl than simply stuffing your face with chips and making a $2 bet with your friend, then you should visit Carbon Poker. After all, Carbon is giving players the opportunity to win a $5,000 freeroll entry simply by predicting the winner of Super Bowl XLVI.

Carbon Poker running $25k Freeroll

On February 26th, Carbon Poker will hold a huge $25,000 Bankroll Booster freeroll that’s sure to help quite a few players out. This is especially the case with the first place finisher, who’s set to receive $5,000 for winning the tournament!

As for entering this freeroll, players will have two different options. The first option is the regular freeroll qualifiers that run three times a day. What’s great about these tourneys is that there’s absolutely no entry fee, and the top 10 players win a seat for the $25k Bankroll Booster. In regards to finding the regular freerolls, you can catch them daily at 13:30, 17:30 and 21:30 (server time) in the Scheduled > Special section of the lobby.

The other option for winning your way into the Bankroll Booster includes the VIP Points Earned qualifiers. With these, you need to earn a certain amount of VIP Points before a specified time of the day. Your points start being tracked at 00:01, and here is a look at how many points you need to earn to enter each specific qualifier:

- 00:30 qualifier requires 100 points
- 04:30 qualifier requires 20 points
- 08:30 qualifier requires 50 points
- 12:30 qualifier requires 100 points
- 14:30 qualifier requires 300 points
- 16:30 qualifier requires 75 points
- 18:30 qualifier requires 15 points
- 20:30 qualifier requires 100 points
- 22:30 qualifier requires 500 points

The big advantage to playing in the VIP Points qualifiers is that there will be far less poker players in these fields than what you can expect in the open entry qualifiers. But no matter what way you make it into the $25k Bankroll Booster, it’s well worth the effort because of the huge prize pool that’s available.

And as far as structure goes, players will start off with 3,000 chips in this tournament, and the blind levels go up every 10 minutes. This being the case, it gives players plenty of time to use skilled play to inch closer towards that $5,000 first place prize.

Carbon Poker VIP Program Upgraded

We’ve always had a very generous VIP program at Carbon Poker since players can receive cashback, private freeroll entries, and enter poker tournaments with points. And what’s nice is that these deals still stand today, which gives players plenty of chances to make extra money away from the poker tables.

Interestingly enough, there are even more cash-filled opportunities through the Carbon Poker VIP program because some big upgrades have been added. If you’re interested in finding out about the new upgrades, here is a look at some recent changes:

$10,000 Monthly Freeroll – In the past, Carbon VIP freerolls were specific to the level a player was at in the program. For example, if you were at the Earth level, you’d compete in the smallest VIP freeroll. However, things have changed now because every VIP level will compete in the same $10,000 freeroll on the last Saturday of each month. This is nice for players at lower statuses because it gives them a chance to win some big money!

New Carbon Poker Promotions in January

If you’re suffering from a major holiday hangover, maybe the new January Carbon Poker promotions will perk you up. For starters, Carbon is offering a 10% reload bonus to all existing players. In addition to this, we’re also giving out special bonuses to players through the Quad Pyramid promo. That being said, here is a look at both of these promotions in detail:

10% Instant Bonus – In order to take advantage of the Carbon Poker reload bonus, you need to make a deposit from now until January 15th, 2012 (23:59 server time) while using the FRESHSTART bonus code. Last Chance for December Double VIP Points

As you may already know, Carbon Poker has been giving out double VIP points throughout the month of December. But the catch with this is that you need to play in MTT’s and SNG’s on Mondays and Tuesdays to get the VIP points. This being said, we’re running into the last few chances for players to pick up double VIP points this month.

Today and tomorrow are both excellent chances to grab extra VIP points, and you have up until 23:59 (server time) on Tuesday to do this. Following the beginning of this week, next Monday (December 31st) will be your final chance to get the double points.

Assuming you haven’t already opted-in to this promotion, go to your Player Admin area, and click on the “Activate Promo” button. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be earning the double VIP points in December. And it’s definitely worth the effort to earn as many VIP points as you can since Carbon Poker offers so many benefits to VIP Loyalty Program members.

The best thing you can do with the points is exchange them for real money (cashback). Depending on your level within the VIP program, you can really earn a lot of extra money by doing this. For example, if you were at the Ether level, you’d be able to exchange 5,000 points for every $60 (35% cashback).

Aside from the cashback, you can also enter poker tournaments for free with your VIP points, which is certainly a nice bonus! So if you’re looking to pick up extra rewards at Carbon Poker, make sure to take advantage of the remaining double VIP points days this month.

Double VIP Points back in December

If you haven’t already heard, Carbon Poker has brought back their 2x VIP points promotion in December. So from now until December 31st, you can move towards cashback, freeroll entries and free poker tournament buy-ins twice as fast!

To get started on your way towards double VIP points, you need to visit your Player Admin section and choose the “Activate Promo” button. After you’ve activated this promotion, you need to play in MTT’s and SNG’s on Mondays and Tuesdays from 00:00 to 23:59 (server time).

Assuming you do take advantage of double VIP points, you’ll be able to enter the added-value poker tournaments that Carbon is running much quicker (requires 250 VIP points to play). Speaking of these tournaments, Carbon is adding $1,000 to the prize pools of four tourneys this month, and here is a look at the schedule:

December 17th – $5 + $0.50 buy-in (earn at least 250 VIP points)
December 24th – $2 + $0.20 buy-in (earn at least 250 VIP points)
December 25th – $1 + $0.10 buy-in (earn at least 250 VIP points)
December 31st – $1 + $0.10 buy-in (earn at least 250 VIP points)

Going back to the double VIP points, remember that these will enable you to advance up the VIP program levels much quicker. As you move up the ladder, you’ll be able to receive more freeroll entries, cashback and other great rewards. At the highest VIP level, which is Ether, players earn 35% cashback, free check withdrawals, a VIP player host, event invitations, side game rebates, birthday gifts, customizable tables and other special rewards.

Carbon Poker December Tournaments featuring Extra $5k

Carbon Poker is doing their part to make this holiday season a little bit better by adding a collective $5,000 to December poker tournament prize pools. The added $5k will be split into five equal $1,000 amounts, and the tourney buy-ins will range from $1 + $.10 to $10 + $1.

Those who want to participate in these added value poker tournaments need to earn 250 VIP points at some point in December, and pay the buy-in. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to play in the following tournaments:

December 10th – $10 + $1 buy-in, earn at least 250 VIP Points
December 17th – $5 + $0.50 buy-in, earn at least 250 VIP Points
December 24th – $2 + $0.20 buy-in, earn at least 250 VIP Points
December 25th – $1 + $0.10 buy-in, earn at least 250 VIP Points
December 31st – $1 + $0.10 buy-in, earn at least 250 VIP Points

As you can see, the December 10th added value poker tournament has already past, but there are still four other tourneys where $1,000 will be added to the prize pool. And they’re all at least several days away, so you have plenty of time to earn the required 250 VIP points to play.

It’s also worth mentioning that the extra $1k should offer a ton of added value to these poker tournaments since the buy-ins are so low. For example, let’s say you play in one of the $1 + $0.10 tournaments; even if 2,000 people bought in ($2K total), Carbon Poker would be matching 50% of the prize pool with their added $1,000, which really adds a lot of equity for players!
